Recommended for customers with In-Mast Furling, who use the Topping Lift to hoist their Mast Ladder. This fully Adjustable Boom Sling supports the boom while they climb. In the absence of a Sky Hook, the Backstay serves to hold the boom up and stop it moving around when you don't want it to, so it can be used to get on to the Mast Ladder safely. A klemheist or Machard knot in its special rubberised braided polyester cord-hoop is used to secure the sling on the backstay, and then can be slid up to an appropriate position using a boat hook. One spare cord-hoop is included, so two can be used at once if preferred.
